mcornfield - here are some ideas for consideration
1. As much as you commit too. look to find those that blog, vlog and that inspire you to give it ago. My personal favourites are Guyinacube and Curbal. Both are short and sharp and then giove you opportunity to dive off and learn more.
2. DA-100 from Microsoft is the the only formal certification I know about. This is part of the Microsoft Data Analyst pathway and covers all aspects of PBI.
3. Have you tried searching to see if there is a Power BI User Group (PUG) in your area?
