I'm trying to find the best way to catalogue the Power BI reports generated. We have a moderate collection of reports, many with different regional or department based RLS in effect.
I have a table that I've generated in Excel that I can use to show names, links, assumptions and describe the calculations for each report. However, I'd also like a page that shows images of pages of each report. This is quite different than the rest of my Power BI reports! It seems like there's no way to export from my reports on PBI Service as either Powerpoint or PDF and then import the images back into Power BI? I did seem to get close, with a Powerpoint export as image, I can host this on sharepoint, and access it from power query, but it's binary data that isn't loaded into the report proper.
Does anyone know of a good way to index and show images according to filters, or to have an image in a power bi that has dynamic content based on filters?

Hello @ghaines
try this
You can display dynamic report images in Power BI by exporting report pages as images (via PowerPoint or PDF), hosting those images on SharePoint or OneDrive, and then creating a metadata table with image URLs. Load this table into Power BI, set the image column’s data category to "Image URL", and use a table or custom visual to display the image alongside other metadata. Apply filters like region or department, and the corresponding report image will update dynamically based on selection.
