Power BI Capacity
Hi, I have some doubts about power bi's ability to work with a high volume of information, recently I implemented a BI that had a DW size of 15 gb, and I was able to implement most of the reports I wanted, but now I'm going to start a New BI project with a DW of 2 TB, I know that this information is very vague and of course we will not use all this information in fact at most 20% of them but I would like to know based on your experience if it is possible to implement a project with the Power BI working with this volume of information.
Thanks for your help right away.

Hi Anonymous,
How you are connecting to your data source? Are you importing data in power Bi or using Live connection?
Thanks,P

I have both scenarios, there will be two groups of bi users in the project, the first group will use the information in the D-1 mode that would import the data needed for the reports that these users will use for Power Bi and this connection It would be via ODBC and the second group will use the reports that have the information updated in real time.

Basicall capacity is used against what data is imported by each user. In case of live connection, it will not use storage, so depending how much data your user import, will drive the storage capacity. As far as I know, every user get 10gb storage with their Pro account and they can see the storage usage when they login to app.powerbi.com.
Not sure if it is helpful but if need further help, please ask.
