Power BI - Can't read in .xlsb files

Hi Community,

From what I've researched PBI doesn't provide the ability to read in .xlsb files, When I try to read in the file it takes ages to load and once it loades no tables appear for me to load.

Does someone have a workaround? I've been trying to find a power automate flow that might do the conversion from .xlsb to .xlsx for me but I haven't come accross any.

P.S I know I can change the file format manually but I would like to do it automatically without having to use VBA or python.

I don't think you can do it with Power Automate in the cloud, so try the Desktop version:
