Power BI Arial Font Size 14 (14pt) Bullet Point Issue

Question

Dear Fabric Community,&nbsp;I was wondering if anyone had the same issue as me as I am unable to use Bullet Points with the Font Arial at Size 14 (14pt) without causing the text to reduce to below the size 10 font with no way to increase the text size. Unfortunatley I am limited to using Arial 14pt to match guidline but I wanted know if this was a reproducable issue?

You mean the size of the&nbsp;bulet point doesn't change.
This is actually a known issue and someone has created an idea for this issue on Fabric Ideas forum.
I suggest going and voting for this option.

HI&nbsp;JM01&nbsp;I am able to create Bullet points in a text box in Power BI with font =&nbsp;Arial&nbsp;and&nbsp;text size = 14

When you add a bullet point it defaults to&nbsp;Segoe UI&nbsp; and&nbsp;size = 10. You may need to select the text again chnage its font and size and it works.

However, thank you for sending over the link to the idea, I have upvoted that now so hopefully this solution will be added at a later date.Thank you again.

Hi&nbsp;Pragati11,&nbsp;Thank you for your reply, unfortuantely trying to change the font size back to Arial after does not fix this issue. It seems that when using the Arial font the bullet points are not correct for any of the sizes, the bullet point is too small. Is there there any way to solve this as I need to use Arial?&nbsp;Many thanks.

Great observation, and you’re right that this behavior is currently tied to how Power BI renders text formatting in the textbox visual. The bullet points in Arial (and a few other non-default fonts) don’t scale properly with larger font sizes such as 14 pt or above. When the bullet list is created, the visual reverts to Segoe UI 10 pt internally, which makes the bullets appear much smaller than the text and prevents consistent resizing.
A temporary workaround is to manually highlight the list after inserting the bullets and reapply both font = Arial and size = 14 pt. In some cases, toggling between “Normal Text” and “Bullet List” formats and re-selecting Arial forces the renderer to update the font metrics correctly. If that still doesn’t resolve it, this is a known issue that has already been logged on the Fabric Ideas forum (thankuou&nbsp;Pragati11&nbsp;for sharing the link and answer). I’d recommend up-voting that idea so the product team can prioritize a fix in upcoming releases.Thank you.
