Power BI App on iPad error

When scrolling on one of the pages in a published app on iPad, the user gets this error 'something went wrong. Your device may not have enough memory to load this report. Contact the report owner about adjusting the report for mobile devices' Any ideas? 🙂

As i know phone report designs are to view the report as vertical.
and i know refresh solves the problem. But who want to use a report which gives error in every half an hour?

hi @ugurdemir did you performed any other step besides pure rehresing? like clearing cache or allow web site tracking and etc? how big is your report?

thanks

Hello @Hayleysea  did you manage to solve your error? Did you found out root cause? Thanks a lot

Me also get this error on ipad. Especially if report has many pages and visuals. The first time i get this error i was in a page with about 40 visuals (visuals managed by bookmarks, not all of them appear at once) but then i see that even on the pages with 8-10 visuals i get this error.
And not the page nor the visual nor the button is specific, error happens randomly.

hi @ugurdemir  I have tested one of my reports on android and all working fine. Also having a lot of visuals and even map inside. But on IOS is having this exact error. Did you discover root cause?

Thanks

HI @Hayleysea

Reload the page

Usually, you can reload the page to fix the error.

If that didn't work...

Step 1: Check your internet connection

  1. Make sure your iPhone or iPad is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  2. Try to reload the tab with the error.

Step 2: Clear your cache

Chrome might have information stored that's stopping the page from loading.

Open the page in an Incognito window

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app
  2. Tap More --> New Incognito Tab
  3. In the Incognito tab, try to reload the page. If it loads, clear your cache and cookies.

Clear your cache and cookies

  1. Tap More --> Settings
  2. Tap Privacy  --> Clear browsing data.
  3. Select Cookies, site data and Cached images and files. Deselect the other types of data.
  4. Tap Clear browsing data --> Clear browsing data.
  5. Tap Done
  6. Try to reload the tab with the error.

Step 3: Close other tabs or apps

Your device may have run out of memory, and can't load the site while also running your apps.

  1. Free up memory:
    • Close every tab except for the one that’s showing the error message.
    • Quit other apps that are running, and pause any app or file downloads.
  2. Try to reload the tab with the error

If it is still not working restart your Ipad

and the last step will be to reinstall teh browser.
