I use Power BI using the Parrallels app on my mac.
In Power BI Desktop, I click on Sign In, enter my email and click on Continue. After that, the power bi app becomes unresponsive and it sounds as if it is behind a modal window. After a lot of trial and errors, I finally found the model window (attached) but couldn't find a way to prevent it or have it go away. The Windows Firewall is completely off. I should note, it used to work just fine until it didn't and I am not too sure what is causing this.

I ended up uninstalling everything (Windows and PBI) on my Parrallels and re-installing and that solved the problem.

Hi @asarraf21 ,
After my test, I was able to log in normally and could not reproduce your scenario.
Is your Power BI Desktop the latest version, if not, you can download the latest version in the following Link, if it is the latest version but downloaded in the Microsoft Store, it may have an impact, you need to uninstall it all clean, and then download the latest version in the following Link official website:
Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

@asarraf21 , Try this setting, if that can help
Go to File-> Options and settings -> Options -> Security Option -> and check : Use My Default browser( Visible after scroll)
if needed, clear the cache of the default browser
Thank you for your reply. The Use My Default browser is checked, cache was cleared but still the problem persists.
