Power BI Analysis Services Connector Issues
I am having issues connecting to my SQL Server Analysis Services database when using Power BI Connector Preview. When using the Designer I am able to connect to all my databases with no issues, however, when using the Connector, I keep getting an "effective user name mismatch" error. Any insight as to what might be causing this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
- I had solved the “Effective Username Mismatch” Error
- These caused by the user name of our POWERBI and in our domain Active Directory user name are not matched.

- I followed this link and I solved my issue.
Thanks,

I have SSAS installed on an Azure VM. On this VM I dont have it connect to any domain controller. All I see is local accounts. I ran into the user mismatch issue when I tried to configure the connector. It complained by corporate account which I used to log onto Power BI not found in SSAS.
What should I do in this Azure VM?
Thanks
