Hello
I'm wondering if it's possible to get the Map Visualisation to show lines? I've gotten it to show points just fine using Latitude and Longtitude.
I know you can do Shape Map and topojson and I've gotten that too work as well, but I can't get a background layer on that.
Hi @FoolzRailer ,

Hi @FoolzRailer ,
What does "Line" stand for?Do you want to display outline/contour for area in Map visual? If so, I think it's currently not supported.
Please take a look at the official documents to get the differences between Map visual and Shape visual:
Map visual shows data point, Shape Map can't show precise geographical locations of data points on a map. Instead, its main purpose is to show relative comparisons of regions on a map by coloring them differently.
In addition, if you also want this in power bi, let the power bi community to know this things and give your votes at power bi site's feedback - https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/

Line/Polyline represents Sewage Pipes, and they can either go from A-B or A-B-C-D-E-F-G... but each point would have a coordinate in WGS84. They are normally in ESRI .shp format but I can change the format as needed, or just have a table with coordinates x-y.
