Is there a way to merge two like visuals? For example, I would like to merge a stacked column chart with a stacked area chart into one chart, with the area chart providing a background to the columns. Is this possible?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I find I can "almost" do this by setting the background transparency of the stacked column chart to 100%, then setting the stacked chart y-axis to "right". Finally, I overlay and align the stacked column chart onto the stacked area chart. Layer order matters. If there was a way to automatically synchronize the x and y-axes, and the zero alignment then I'd have a complete solution. Merging like charts would be a powerful function.

Put the 2 charts on top of each others with Transparent background each.
