Possible to load Sharepoint list using Sharepoint.Contents( ) ?
I know Shrepoint.Tables( ) connector is usually used to load a Sharepoint list.
However, is it possible to load a list using Sharepoint.Contents( ) connector ?
When I navigate to the desired list using Sharepoin.Contents( ), I get this :
which only has the attachments and the forms but not the list content.
Any idea why ?
Where is the list content ?
No, you cannot directly load a SharePoint list using SharePoint.Contents() in Power Query. SharePoint.Contents() is used to access the contents of a SharePoint site, such as document libraries and folders, but to specifically access a SharePoint list, you should use SharePoint.Lists() instead. This function allows you to retrieve data from a specific SharePoint list, making it more suitable for working with list data directly.

SharePoint doesn't store files quite how you expect. It necessary for the content connector to differ from the list connector due to this backend distinction.
The SharePoint front end does a great job of fooling you into thinking that that structure is what the backend looks like. Its not. Its much more flat.

I believe that should be SharePoint.Tables() and not SharePoint.Lists()
