Possibility connect Power BI to SAP ECC

Dear all,   I am trying to connect Power BI Desktop with (SAP ECC 6 EHP 4 (DEV) system) to pull data from SAP ECC system to Power BI, but below error came: ________________________________________...

    To answer you question, yes you can connect directly to SAP ECC but you'll connect at the database layer and not through the applicaion. 

     

    What database sits under SAP ECC? 

    Do you have a Full Database License or a Runtime License? If you have a full use then you can access the database and read data from the tables using a SQL Server or Oracle Connection.

power bi can connect sap hana,sap bw. for ecc maybe you can use sap odata feed

      Our SAP Database is DB2

        Please try to connect to underlying database to fetch data as lmf232s suggested.
