The fabric UI seems hell bent on NOT being able to see what I'm doing. This is seemingly your approach:
1) leave as much white space as possible and truncate longer words so the actual word (lakehouse, user group, whatever) cannot be fully seen
2) refuse to allow the cursor to sit anywhere without having a popup block what the user is actually trying to see.
Suggestion: 1) allow columns to expand and more importantly 2) ALLOW POPUPS TO BE TURNED OFF OR MANANGED - MAYBE THEY DON'T POP UP FOR 5 OR 10 SECONDS.
Similarly, the developers should use their own product. CLEARLY, they do not.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, we understand how this can impact usability.
As already suggested, could you please confirm if you’ve created or upvoted an idea on the Microsoft Fabric Ideas Portal? If yes, please share the link here so others can also upvote and help increase its visibility.
Additionally, you can submit feedback directly from the Fabric portal via Help Improve Fabric in the top right corner.
Appreciate your inputs on this.
I think the core issue is the hover‑engine hitting sub‑pixel zones n wiping the labels… just switch to compact + drop zoom 1 step; if it still blocks, reload the pane—only workaround till proper controls land.
