How can I figure out what causes this extremely poor performance? Almost 20 sec for the first load compared to ~300 ms for the following.
The model uses direct query to connect to our SQL server analysis services database

You should click the PLUS size where it is taking longer time like Production 19922
Then look into the different part inside this head and rectify DAX or visual or Query causing the issue
