Hi
I'm plotting a graph which shows results for the last 6 years (with the delay in quarters from the start of each year displayed on the x axis). Currently I see, even for the more recent years, data points plotted for all the quarters ranging upto the maximum quarters transpired form the oldest year. E.g. for year 2016 I see 24 quarters in all, but I also see data points for year 2021 stretched till 24 quarters. How can I plot only those quarters that have transpired for the respective years (2016-24 quarters, 2017-20 quarters, 2018-16 quarters...2021-4 quarters)?
Appreciate any help I can get!
Regards
Raj
Hi again @amitchandak. Kindly see graphs below. I would like to display for e.g. year 2021 only data points till the quarters that have elapsed from start of that year, i.e. upto quarter 3. Similarly for 2020 only till quarter 7, 2019 till quarter 11...year 2016 till quarter 23. In excel we can simply remove specific data points, how can we do the same in power bi?
Does this clarify the question or do you want me to send table info as well?
Regards
Raj
Hi @RAJAKA ,
It depends on what your underlying data looks like. You have 0-23 on the x-axis, is that mean you have data corresponding to 0-23 for each year in the table?
Best Regards,
Jay
@RAJAKA ,The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
Appreciate your Kudos.
