Plot flow map with Origin, Layover and destination

I have Origin City, Layover City and Final Destionation in my dataset. I need to plot a map showing flow with all 3 cities in a single map depicting the flow of the journey.

Is it possible to get the result from flow map or there is any other custom visual which can produce the same result.

    Hi Anonymous ,

    Based on my test, the flow map can actually meet part of your requirement, but it is supported for two places like origin city and destination city field currently. It cannot provide the third field like Layover city as your previous said. Other than that, I don't think there is a better map visual than this. Maybe you can contact to author to get better support. You can refer to the link: https://weiweicui.github.io/PowerBI-Flowmap/

      amitchandak Thank you for your response. 

       

      But the route map is not meeting up my requirement being 3 locations to be plotted in a single map.

    I'm having same issue.

     

    I need to plot origin/destination cities for a Cargo Ship and also includ latest postition (i can get all that from Marinetraffic.com, daily) 

    I wonder if one could do something like that in R or Python, since FlowMap doesn't allow a third point...
