Plot Python Visual as a Tooltip based on selected data point in Power BI Line CHart

Hi Experts

Is it possible plot a Python Candlestick chart based on the data point that has been selected in the Power BI Visual Line Chart and return that selected data point as a variable back to the Pythin Script.

i want to be able to select on the Cumulative PNLogram Line chart in the attached file a single data point and based on that selected data point - run the pythin script on Page 1 Tab (power BI Attached file).

At present i cannot tell python what that single data point - its confused....

Hi Even with you solution - i cannot get the python to plot the chart - thats my issues. A working solution.

you haven't specified a tooltip for your chart visual. I fixed the plumbing for you. See attached.

Next step you need to provide all the data for your dataframe as part of the link, so whatever fields your Python script needs must also be present in the chart (try hiding the fields in the axis hierarchies)

unmarked the solution. I have not much expertise in Python visuals - you will want to make sure it renders ok with sample data befoe trying to use it as a tooltip.
