Please Help
Hi Having problems sorting want to sort by month instead of day the file is from sharepoint can anyone help Thanks John
Hi John,
That looks a little strange! First thing to do is to go to the three little dots on the top right of the visual and select sort by, at the bottom. Ensure the chart is sorted by date.
If that doesn't work, double check your date actually is a date, because PowerBI sorts dates as a whole - it shouldn't sort by days! To do this just click on your column / measure in the fields ribbon and go to the column tools section on the top ribbon. There you can determine what the data type is, and if necessary, switch it to date.

Johnl , This seems like date
suppose you have months like
Month Year = FORMAT([Date],"mmm-yyyy")
Month Year = FORMAT([Date],"mmmm-yyyy")
create a sort column and mart this as the sort column
