Please Help With Slicer Only Affecting Matrix Values

Hello community,

I currently have a project forecast report I'm working on. My customer really wants to have a slicer for Direct Manager & a slicer for Project Manager. Both of those groups will want to view ONLY their workers.

What I want to see when I click on a direct manager, is that manager's workers + the matrix drilldown of all the projects those workers have been forecasted for.

What I want to see when I click on a project manager, is every worker that is working on any project that the Project Manager manages + the matrix drilldown of every project those workers have been forecasted for, inlcuding those not managed by the project manager.

So basically the slicers are all about the worker. Currently though, the slicers are only changing the values in the report, but I'm still seeing all workers and all projects regardless of which slicer I use.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Okay so this didn't get much traction, but I still wanted to reply with how I resolved in case someone runs into this. Such a silly mistake on my part, but hey, I'm still learning.

All I did was add a 'Forecasted Hours' filter to the matrix and set it to show only values greater than or equal to 1. Now my slicers show the matrix as I expected. It was that simple. Hope it can help someone.

So as a test, I've tried adding the Project Manager field to the table 'Forecasted Hours by Worker'. However, when using the slicer (while it does show only that Project Manager's workers), it also only shows the worker's projects that belong to the Project Manager.

I want the slicer to show the Project Manager's workers only and in the matrix show all of the worker's projects including those that the sliced Project Manager does not own... if that makes sense.

Any thoughts?
