Planning of updates (Desktop/Service/Gateway/etc.)

Hi,

Last week our reports did not work anymore. Apparently this was due to an outdated version of our enterprise gateway (not updated to the July version) while PBI Desktop was running on the last update. We were not aware of this gateway update.

Therefore, my question is as following: can we have insight into the (conditional) planning of updates - for each month?

We are not interested in what new features these updates may consist of, just when they happen. It is much easier to do report control and update administration when we know what to expect when.

Power BI Desktop is updated every month, sometimes updates happened more than once in a month, when the updates occur, it will notify you to download the new version when you open Power BI Desktop.

In addition, as far as I know, Power BI gateway is also updated every month, however, there is no notification about this update, there is an idea about this issue, you can vote it up.
