Planning automatic refresh of dataset

Hi all,

I'm trying to plan an automated refresh of my dataset. However, I get an error that this is not possible since at least one data source reference is missing or wrong. I need to update it via the settings of the dataset. When I go there the tab of data source references is greyed out and i cannot open it. Anyone an idea what could cause this?

Hi, @Anonymous 

If your dataset contains multiple data sources, each data source must be added in the gateway. If one or more data sources aren't added to the gateway, you won't see the gateway as available for scheduled refresh.

You can follow the steps to recheck the operation:

a)Please check the datasource whether it has been added to gateway, if not please click “Add to gateway”  

b)configure  you data source Settings or edit you credentials here

c)Then please return to check “the data sources included in this dataset” whether it  maps to the right data source configured in gateway.If not ,choose  the right one and apply it .

d) If all the above steps are OK and you gateway  is running normally, the final result will be as shown below:
