Pivot using Date slicer/parameter
I have a pivot table I created using 2 fields. I would like to use a slicer so a date range can be requested. I dont know if this is possible since a date field is not part of the pivot. I am new to ...
Anonymous If you have a date column in your model that you wish to slice on, it doesn't need to be on the visual. It all depends on how your model is created, and what kind of relationship have between tables.
in the end, the column you want to slice on doesn't need to be part of the visual.
