Is there anyway to replicate the Excel Pivot table functionality with being able to drill down into a hierarchy but also have separate columns that are present and NOT under the hierarchy?
Directly below I have my hierarchy collapsed so everything in the TOYS is collapsed yet the Distributer field always shows.
The second photo shows the hierarchy being partially expanded, but Distributer is always showing as a column. Can PBI do this at all? I can't find anyway to replicate this behavior. All I can do is use a Matrix and it collapses everything to the right so the only way I could see "Distributer" would be to FULLY expand the hierarchy Category, Subcategory, Product Name and THEN I could see Distributer.

Hi @OneWithQuestion ,
It is not supported to drill down on multiple hierarchies independently in Power BI currently .There is an idea about this issue, please vote it up, Fix hierarchy/drill behavior , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
We also submitted this feedback to the product group internally, so that the product group can pay attention to this problem and speed up the issue repairing.
Best Regards,
Amy
