Pin which does not go to the report

Hello, 

Sometime I pin the entry page of the report in the dashboard. After that the user can go in the left top corner and clicking on it can go to the report and starting navigating it. 

However, sometime even if I pin the report this corner does not work, the pin is just a static page which doesn't go to the report. 

Any advice?
