Pie charts

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this?

How do I get a pie chart to reset according to selections in other visuals. For example, if I have a pie chart that shows total sales by customer and I then click on a product in a product list table, how do I get the pie chart to just show sales for the selected product?

  • Hi Chalklands,

I'm assuming that this information is related so you have a link between the Sales table and the product list or that they are retrieve from the same table.

In this case you just need to edit the interactions (check this link) in this case you can select the filter option of the edit interactions that will allow you to only see the sales for the specific product you selected.

    Regards,

    It should be automatic.

Does the field you use in your Pie Chart come from the sale underlying data-table as the field you use in your product visual?
