Pie chart - data may not be formatted to work?

I'm having trouble creating the pie charts that I need based on how my data is formatted. I have 22 locations and 2 different data columns. Therefore, I need 22 pie charts with the 2 percentages displayed. However, my locations are all in one column and not separated per location. Is there a way to make the different pie charts per location in Power BI or is it easier to change the formatting on the excel sheet and work from there?

Yes, copy/pasting the chart and changing the visual level filter is probably the quickest way here.  Make sure your master chart is exactly how you want it, because every time you make a change, you'll have to copy paste again with this method.

As far as changing the colors, in the formatting tab (the roller paintbrush above the section you set the filter up) there is an option for Data Colors, and you can edit each visual to be whatever colors you want.

It's easy to set up each pie chart to show a different location.

For each pie chart, under the section where you drag the values to be shown, is a section of filters.  Set up a visual level filter on location = X for each pie chart.   Make sure it's a visual level filter and not a report level filter, or you'll end up with filtered data in all your charts.

I was able to set up the visual filter to show one location at a time. Does this mean I'll have to copy and paste the pie chart and choose a separate location each time?

If that's the case, I can't change the 2 section colors, since the legend is showing per location. Any idea how to fix this?
