Pie chart calcuation incorrect
Hi,
I have a table with a field called "ApplicationValidated" and it is a column set to either "Yes" or "No".
I have another field in the same table called "Domain".
I have a total of 9 applications for a particular Domain, 1 not validated and 8 validated.
My Pie Chart is showing me 29% for Yes(meaning validated) and 71% for No(Meaning Not Validated), which it should be 89% validated and 11% not validated ???
My Pie Chart has the following:
Legend: ApplicationValidated
Values: Count of Domain
Detals: blank
Hi EaglesTony
The issue is with how you set up the Values field, right now you’re using Count of Domain, which counts distinct domain values, not the number of applications and that’s why the percentages are off.In order to fix it follow these steps:
Put ApplicationValidated in the Legend.
In Values, use Count of ApplicationValidated (or another unique application ID/row count).
Leave Details blank.
This way the pie chart will count each application correctly and show 8 “Yes” vs 1 “No,” giving you 89% vs 11%.
Did it work? 👍 A kudos would be appreciated
