Personal gateway to linux

I have a dw on a linux server and would like to leave that installed the personal gateway server to download, is this possible? There is personal gateway to power bi linux? and if so to make the load on premises of my application in this situation I need to have the power bi desktop installed on the server?

    hi Anonymous,
    The gateway cannot work on a Linux machine, neither PBI desktop. 
    You need to install the Personal Gateway on a Windows machine, and no you don't need a PBI desktop on that machine.
