Persist hierarchy not working when selecting multiple values in field parameters

thanks Natarajan_M After much fiddling with it, i was able to find a work around. what i found out was that if there was another column placed below the field parameter in the Rows well, the persistent hierarchy would behave as expected. So what i did was to create a blank column, placed it below the field parameter in the Rows well and gave it a blank title and hid that column in the matrix( see screenshot below) . That worked out pretty well and gave me what i wanted. Thanks for your suggestion and help 🙂

I think the closest solution could be using bookmarks.
Bookmark Reset Button:
Create a bookmark with the slicer in the desired expanded state, insert a button, and assign the bookmark to the button. Users can then click the button to restore the expanded state after a deselection.
