Permanently Turn On Drill Mode for Matrix

The goal is to have the Drill Mode permanently activated for matrix table. Not sure if this is possible but I tried using bookmarks and playing with the settings but no luck.

If anyone was successful on having this done, your advice is greatly appreciated.

@win_anthony I would recommend turning off a visual header for drill items only and keeping another visual header on so that you have all the functionality still available, no need to turn off visual header completely.

Hi @win_anthony

You can turn on Drill Mode, then turn off Visual header in Format pane. In this way, when you publish the report to Power BI Service and view it in Reading view, you will find the visual header is hidden when you hover over the matrix. The users will not be able to change the Drill mode. But it also disables you from using other features in visual header. And it will be difficult to drill up if you already drill down to some data.

@win_anthony you can turn on drill mode and publish the report to the service and will keep the drill mode on, but a user can always turn it off.
