Period total from a week slicer
Hi
Our financial year is split up into 13 periods with 4 weeks in each period. What I'd like to do is show two visuals - one showing a week's income (based on a selection from a slicer) and another showing the relevant period's total income. It's getting the period number that is causing me trouble. A simplified version of my calendar table is below:
| Week | Period |
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 1 |
| 3 | 1 |
| 4 | 1 |
| 5 | 2 |
| 6 | 2 |
| 7 | 2 |
| 8 | 2 |
| 9 | 3 |
| 10 | 3 |
| 11 | 3 |
| 12 | 3 |
| 13 | 4 |
| 14 | 4 |
| 15 | 4 |
| 16 | 4 |
And my simplified data table looks like this:
| Week | Income |
| 1 | £1,000 |
| 2 | £400 |
| 3 | £700 |
| 4 | £400 |
| 5 | £100 |
| 6 | £500 |
| 7 | £200 |
| 8 | £300 |
| 9 | £500 |
| 10 | £400 |
| 11 | £1,000 |
| 12 | £200 |
| 13 | £800 |
| 14 | £100 |
| 15 | £200 |
| 16 | £100 |
So if a user selected week 2 on a slicer, I'd want the period visual to show £2,500 (£1,000+£400+£700+£400). Any help would be appreciated!

Hi David4,
Just make a relation between the calendar table week and the Data table by week and use the calendar week to make the slicer and use it on your visuals when need to have week on them also and should work as expected.
If this is also through several years you need to have a table with WeekYear to have the link between tables.

Thanks Ashish. Sorry for the double post - I thought my first one hadn't posted.
