Performance optimization with measures in same query?
The location (home table) of a measure does not affect its performance. I prefer to put all measures in a Measures table and use display folders for segregation.

Thank you very much for the reply/explanation. May I ask in one more question (maybe you know the answer aswell), are published reports in the online version faster to load? e.g. when switching pages in the desktop application it sometimes takes a few seconds. Is that faster or slower in the published report for users who are only viewing the data and not working with it as I do?
The speed likely depends on numerous factors, so it may vary depending on data source, storage mode, etc.
