Percentile measure not matching scatter

Hi all,

I have the following data:

Screenshot 2021-12-15 at 08.52.29.png

Left is the data in a table, which is visualised in a scatter plot (middle), with percentile lines added. However my percentile measures (right - for 85th and 50th) do not match that which is on the scatter chart.

Any ideas as to what I need to do to get them to match?

Hi @FlowViz ,

I think you add [50 th] and [80 th] measures in Y-Axis Constant line in Analysis. I create a sample to have a test.

My measure:

50 th = PERCENTILE.EXC('Table'[Cycle Round],0.5)
85th = PERCENTILE.EXC('Table'[Cycle Round],0.85)

Scatter chart:

I think the result from your measure is based on your visual. Here is a post with similar problem like yours, you may refer to it. In my visual it works well. Please check my sample and compare my sample with yours.

Rico Zhou

Thank you - I hadn't considered that 🙂

I'm still curious as to why the two don't match?

@FlowViz , Have you added those lines using a measure in X/Y axis constant line (using Fx option)? , if not try that
