Hello Everyone,
I'm fetching data in Power BI Desktop from a sharepoint excel file
As you can see we have multiple values in Particulars which are integers but for ROE the value is in percentage,
When I'm putting the fields in a matrix visual it's giving integer values for ROE too which is not the requirement,
The output I want should look like this
And in Power bi it is looking like this
Any work around or solution to what I want to acheive?
Any efforts or support will be appreciated.
Thank You All.
Check the column format dropdown under the Column Tools tab. Even if its a percentage type, it can still be formatted in different ways and it's probably defaulting to not showing the percent sign.
Actually the column 'Amount' has values as integers but for a ROE Particulars the values in Amount is in percentage, if I'll change the format of the column then for every Particulars the value will come in %but I just want to display the % value for ROE Particulars.
You really shouldn't have them both in the same column if they're not the same data type. I don't know if you have any control over the data source structure, but if the screenshot is the actual source, that's not really the type of thing that Power BI wants to work with - it wants the flat line-item level data and it wants to summarize it for you. There's not a lot of point to putting it in PBI if it's already summarized like that--
