Percentage calculation per month

Good day,

I just started working with Power BI and am still learning.  Could someone please assist me with a formula.

In my data I have the number of services we do on our equipment vs the potential number of service.  I would like to calculate the percentage of the number of services we do per month (We call the services we do "Hits")

A created a new measure: Hit Rate YTD = SUM('Data Hit Rate-YTD'[TP Completed Events (Hits)]) / SUM('Data Hit Rate-YTD'[Total Potential Events]) but this does not give the a percentage per month.

I have a seperate column with the date.  Do I have to include this in my calculation?

    Susan_Colyn,

    Create the following columns in your table.

    Year = YEAR('Data Hit Rate-YTD'[Date])
    Month = MONTH('Data Hit Rate-YTD'[Date])

    Then create a table visual as shown in  the following screenshot.

    Regards,
    Lydia
