Percentage Calculation

Hello,

I'm new to Power BI and struggling mightily to figure this out.

I'm trying to create a percentage calculation for a population.  I'm working with a large dataset where the numerical value field I'm trying to create the percentage of the population of, is the "Plan Payment Amount".

The field I'm trying to base the percentage of is the "Episode Category" field.

I'm ultimately trying to create a visualization card where depending of the slicers (Episode Category) and (Episode Description) will change the Percentage Calculation of the "Play Payment Amount"...based on the two slicers/filters I've referred to above.

I believe creating a measure would be the way to go...but I'm struggling with this.  Can you assist?

Thank you!

AW

Based on your description, I created data as follows.

    Table:

You can create a measure as follows. Finally, you can use the ‘Episode Category’ and ‘Episode Description’ columns as slicers to change the measure.

    Plan Payment Amount =

    DIVIDE(

        SUM('Table'[Value]),

        CALCULATE(

            SUM('Table'[Value]),

            ALLSELECTED('Table')

    ))

    Result:

If I misunderstand your thought, please show me your sample data and expected output. Do mask sensitive data before uploading. I am glad to solve the problem for you.

    Best Regards,

    Allan
