Percent of column total rather than grand total?

I'm working on a report and I'm looking to show the percent of registered individuals each year by gender. The percentages are displaying by the grand total and I want them displayed by column year. Please see below image.

I only see the "Show value as: Percent of Grand Total" option. I'm wanting column total. So for example, there'd be approximately 80% female and 20% male for FA2020G.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks!

Hi @mljones

You need to calculate your percentages manually as Dax measures.

male perecent = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[value]),'Table'[gender]= "m")/CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[value]),all('Table'[gender]))

female percent = 1-[male perecent]

and then put both of them on Y axis :
