Since the October 2020 update, any existing .pbix file that I have used, opens with the the banner "There are pending changes in your query that haven't been applied". I did not make any changes in query editor since the last use, and after testing, I am having this populate after creating new .pbix files, applying changes, saving, closing then reopening - not just with existing files. "Discard changes" is an option on the banner, however if selected, the message is persistant and quickly returns.
I have several instances where data sources were saved locally by a coworker, and even though no changes had been made in query editor, I am unable to bring in new data sources/queries since it believes there were changes made to the query where it can't connect to it's data source. This seems like a new glitch? Has anyone else experienced this, or have any suggestions?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Will your dataset change if you apply changes?
Or will this warning bar always exist if you apply changes?
It may be that some new features of the new version are automatically applied to your files.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
