Pdf exportation issues
Good afternoon!
I am having issues when I export my powerbi document. Images (from Simple Image) and Radar Chart (from Radar Chart xViz v.3.0.2) doesn't appear in the exported pdf. I am having this issue from today, because yesteday it worked properly.
Do you know why this is happening and if there's something I can do to fix it?
Many thanks!
Aitor.
Looks like a lot of people are having this same issue that started just recently. Will post here if I find out any updates.
Edit: Looks like this is a known issue and Microsoft is working on resolving it:

Hi!
But I've been doing it for so long, since yesterday. The simple image and the radar chart were in my Power BI document and exported correctly.
Thanks!- djurecicSuper User

Thankyou, djurecic, for your response.
Hi ayeto,We appreciate your inquiry submitted through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Based on my understanding, the issue may be attributable to recent Power BI Service or visual updates that have temporarily affected how visuals render during export. As Simple Image is not a certified visual, it may not always export reliably. Although the xViz Radar Chart is a certified visual, it can fail to export if there was a transient rendering problem, a visual version update, or a temporary service side change.
Please follow the steps below, which may help to resolve the issue:
- Update Power BI Desktop, or retry the export in Power BI Service, as the behaviour may differ between them.
- Replace Simple Image with the built-in Image visual or another certified visual for more reliable export.
- Ensure that any image URLs used are publicly accessible and do not require authentication.
- For the xViz Radar Chart, verify that you are using the latest version. If the issue persists, re-import it from AppSource or from your organisation’s visuals.
We hope this information helps to resolve the issue. Should you have any further queries, please feel free to contact the Microsoft Fabric community.
Thank you.
