Hi all,
I've a doubt regarding Path Function.
In my data I've Reporting Manager ie(Parent) and Employees that work under Parent.
As you see my data has 2 Parent
Below is the snip of sample data.
is there any way to bypass any 1 parent and work on it??
because if my data has 2 parent Path function(DAX) doesnt work.
Is it because my data has 2 parents that's why I'm getting below error?
Please Help.
Hi,
If I am not mistaken the error isn't because of the 2 parent layer, it is because you have the data "Mulahi Hitesh" as a name in "REporting Manager" that does not exist in "Employee" column.
It means you have a manage that is not an employee in the particular organization.
Please mark as a solution if it helps
Thanks for your Kudos
@Anonymous , Please clean and trim and replace "" with null in the power query.
Seems like some data quality issues. It is giving the error manager's name is not present as an employee
