Passing slicer selection to query parameter
Hello
I have a very large table in which I cannot display all the values at once. I decided to create a parameter in which it only displays one query parameter at a time so its possible for the filtered data to be displayed. I would like to increase usability if possible. Is there any way to pass a slicer selection to a parameter so users do not have to go through 'edit parameters' in settings? If not possible out of the box for power BI is there a way to compelte this with R scripts?
Best regards,
Vishnu

I am not aware of a way to do that even with R scripts. Why is not simply slicing the data enough? Load all the data, slice it, it only displays what is selected.

Hi, Vmenon96
I‘m afraid there is no way to pass a slicer selection to a parameter currently.
For your requirement , you can come up with a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner. https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
