Pass Date Parameter to Advanced Editor

Hi, I want to create a parameter at the advance editor based on the time range that the user choose, however it is based on different table. I search some sources they used &(Parameter)& , may i know how am i able to use this function?

** start_time and end_time** are the ones i want to use it as parameter.
