You can identify where a BI is pulling the information (by importing the data).

I have a BI document ready and now I need to identify what excel file is taking as a basis.

  • Hi lysandr0 ,

You can import excel here, and then go to power query to use it as the base data source for data modification.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

lysandr0 Not sure I am 100% clear on this but if you have a Power BI desktop file, go into Power Query Editor (Transform data). Find your query and click on the gear icon for your Source step.
