Parent Child Reporting Visualizer
I have a SSAS multi dimension cube model.
WE have dimension hierarchies that are parent-child hierarchies and not the non-natural hierarchies built using the hierarchies in the dimesions. So we have a member that has usage of Parent to build the hierarchies.
Users are trying to build reports, some in Excel other use Power BI
IN Excel the hierarchies display like
In POwer BI we get
As user drills down the powerBI matrix report has those blank lines. How can we not have those lines? I have seen this video

But that is using hierarchies not parent-child, with parent child there is no property called "HideMemberIF"

I'd like to suggest you take a look at following link to know how to create hierarchy based on parent child relationship.
AFAIK, current power bi not support edit fields when you use live connection mode with as multi dimensional. You need to do these operations in data source side.
