Parameters are not updating

Hi all,

I'm facing a problem and I don't understand why it is happening. I defined 2 parameters: "Instance" (with a list of 2 instances of SQL Server) and "Database" (with the 2 databases):

Then, when I click "ok", this happens (the Instance parameter is passed, but the Database one is not):

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks,

Marta

Hi , @martaredondo

According to you description, I can’t reproduce your problem.

You can try to check whether the parameters are created correctly .

Please refer to this article for more details about  using parameters.

(Once you edit parameters, the data source settings will make changes automatically)

Hi @v-easonf-msft ,

I did exactly what you did and for some reason it doesn't work for me. I reproduced everything over and over again and the problems persist.

The strange thing is that, if I try to change the current source to account for the parameters, the problem occurs, however, if I add a new source and choose the parameters it works perfectly!

Hi , @martaredondo

Have you considered that it may be related to m query?

If possible, can you share your m query here?
