Hi!
We have a pbix file that is used mainly as a template for an big dataset. I've configured and deployed sucessfully the incremental refresh, and it woks once is published on the service. However, by unknow causes, sometimes the required parameters RangeStart and RangeEnd look like to have problems in the file and they "lose" their definition, without the direct intervention from any of us. It appears a question mark on the Manage Parameters dialog:
And incremental refresh turns off:
After a simple re-typing on the value box of the parameter it becomes usable again (and the question mark dissapears):
What could be happening?
As a hint, if there where a problem related with regional configuration (we work in a multi country team), how could be overpass this problem? Is there a more standard way of defining a date time on that dialog?
Thanks!!
Alexis
My PB version is 2.96.701.0 64-bit (August 2021)
@aechague you mentioned template, did you mean you created a Power BI template file?

No, it is used as a template on the sense that is only used for the dataset creation and maintenance, there are not user reports served directly by this file.
Thanks for the question!
@aechague when someone opens the template doesn't it ask to input the value for the parameters?

Hi @parry2k, Thanks... No, it doesn't show or ask anything when the file opens. Any idea?
