Parameter using query is not working power bi report builder

The report parameter ‘S_state_code’ has a DefaultValue or a ValidValue that depends on the report parameter “S_state_code”. Forward dependencies are not valid.

The definition of the report '' is invalid.
----------------------------
An error occurred during local report processing.

How do you create the report parameter? Do you follow the documents below?

Report parameters in Power BI Report Builder

Create parameters for paginated reports in the Power BI service

 

And I think you should be aware of this: Not all data sources support parameters.

hi, may i know what data sources are supported? or data sources not supported? i'm currently connecting to mySQL using ODBC driver and the parameters are not working for me so far..
