Parameter is not working as expected

Hello,

 

I'm trying to use a parameter to select a "positive" and a "negative" group.

In the beginning a hardcoded the value 0 as the threshold. Now I would like that threshold to be dynamic by using the parameter.

 

But the comparison of the real value and the parameter value is not working. It looks like that it still using "0" as the treshold.

 

Using the following measure and column:

Column: PostiveNegative = IF(Division[value]>Parameter[Parameter Value],"Positive", "Negative")

Measure: Parameter Value = SELECTEDVALUE('Parameter'[Parameter])
 

Someone knows whats going on? Both have decimal number as datatype.

    First, you must know that calculated column and calculate table can't be affected by any slicer. 
    Notice:
    1. Calculation column/table not support dynamic changed based on filter or slicer.
    2. measure can be affected by filter/slicer, so you can use it to get dynamic summary result.

    Second, you just need to create a measure instead of column by this formula:

    measure : PostiveNegative = IF(Division[value]>Parameter[Parameter Value],"Positive", "Negative")

      I rewrote the logic to a calculated measure and that works!
