Parameter Display on Reports
Hi,
I know how to create parameters. Unfortunatley every time I need to change value for the parameter I have to click transform data then edit parameter and change value. Too many clicks to change the value.
Can we just display the parameter on the report and then change the value?
Make it more intuitive or interactive?

Hi Anonymous ,
If you want the parameter to be displayed in the report like a label , you can select that parameter in Query Editor, right-click, and check "Enable load" option. Then click "Close & Apply", so that the parameter can be displayed in the report. Only the parameter value you selected can be displayed, not the parameter list. You cannot change the parameter value. This requirement is not currently supported.
You can raise one new idea ticket on Power BI Ideas by this link as suggested by amitchandak. Or here is one similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas, you can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature. In addition, if your parameter value is a numeric type, you may consider creating what if parameter as an alternative.
Best Regards
