Hi @DK_04

If your paginated reports were working fine yesterday but suddenly stopped opening today without showing any error messages, it usually points to an environment or configuration change rather than an issue with the reports themselves. A few common causes are: expired or changed credentials, workspace or capacity-related issues in Power BI Service, recent updates to Report Builder or the Power BI Service that affect compatibility, or even local system settings like firewall, proxy, or antivirus blocking connections. Since you aren’t seeing an explicit error, it’s possible that the report is hanging while trying to connect to its data source or that the workspace is temporarily experiencing service interruptions. To troubleshoot quickly, try opening the same report in another environment (for example, Power BI Service if you’re using Report Builder locally), check if you can open a blank paginated report, and verify data source connections. If nothing works, clear your Report Builder cache or reinstall the tool to rule out local corruption. Also, confirm with your Power BI admin if there were any workspace changes or service incidents. This way you’ll know if the problem is local to your machine or related to the Power BI Service itself.

Hi @DK_04

Here are some troubleshooting steps I recommend you to try if not already tried to resolve this:

  • Verify that other reports and datasets load normally in both desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Ensure the On-premises Data Gateway is running and mapped to all relevant data sources.
  • Check parameter types and values for the report as issues here can result in blank or unresponsive reports.
  • Clear browser cache and try accessing the report from an incognito/private window or alternate browser.
  • Validate workspace and report permissions; sometimes silent changes cause objects to not load.
  • Re-publish the paginated report from Report Builder to refresh data source and metadata mappings.
  • Review recent changes to the VDI environment, such as firewall updates or session policies.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, I recommend checking the Power BI Service status and gateway health for outages.
